There was one at Ikea that I really liked, but I don’t see it in the online catalog anymore. Bah. If they don’t have it anymore, I’ll have to try someplace like Staples.
The main problem is just getting the stupid thing home. If I’m going to have to pay a delivery charge, I may as well get a bunch of other stuff I need at the same time, but then that’ll delay things even further as I have to do more research… :-)

There’s always the option of cabbing it home, with chair in tow. As long as you don’t get the insane Jamaican driver I did, who thinks he’s the ebony Mad Max, you and your chair will make it just fine. :-)
Oh, and be sure to empahsize the fact that you want a van, not a car when you call the dispatch, cuz they can be kinda, uh, stunned. ;-)

While lime green is normally a color reserved for women so dated that pantsuits are considered high fashion, I can’t say anything at all about the desk. :-)
Metal desks are where it’s at. Like two turntables and a microphone…
Your ass will thank you. Not sure that I would pay full price, though. I managed to get mine for really cheap from the remnants of Scient during the .com bust.
I’d also like a Lexus, a yacht, and a mansion in the Okanagan Valley, but that’s not going to happen either. :-)
A good quality chair is important though, so I’ll be willing to shell out a bit more. May as well go for an expensive but comfy one that’ll last 10+ years, rather than a cheap, crummy one that’ll fall apart within two…
