  1. His own mother didn’t think he should have been released, that’s rather telling. While he doesn’t seem like the sort of person who should be allowed to roam free on the streets, I sometimes think it’s sad that a criminal can do (my text is hiding under the sidebar again, forgive the errors) can serve his or her sentence and be released, but not lose the stigma even though the debt to society has supposedly been discharged. It makes me wonder if that almost drives them to commit crimes again.

  2. Yeah, it’s strange in that it’s the media attention around his release that provoked his reaction that got him sent back. Given his history though, it would have likely only been a matter of time before he did *something*…

    (And I finally see what you meant by the comment area problem, and it should be fixed now. Only appears under IE at work for me.)

  3. Another thought, it almost seems that authorities were looking for a reason to put this guy away again. Making death threats? I see those on the internet all the time. :p
